XProtect Rapid REVIEW Device License (Milestone part number XPRRDL) licenses one camera for XProtect Rapid REVIEW, the forensic video search add-on powered by BriefCam analytics and built into the XProtect Smart Client. Rapid REVIEW indexes people, vehicles and objects in recorded video so investigators can filter hours of footage by class, colour, size, direction, speed, dwell time and appearance similarity, and watch a condensed video synopsis instead of scrubbing the timeline. One device licence is needed per camera you want to search.

This is an electronic licence. Nothing ships: the licence is issued against your Milestone software licence code (SLC) and activated in the Management Client. Perpetual XProtect licences include the first year of Milestone Care Plus; keeping Care Plus current gives you version upgrades and full trade-in value when you move to a higher edition.

Do I need a licence for every camera on the system?
No, only for the cameras you want to search with Rapid REVIEW. Many customers license the entrances, exits and key public areas.
Does it need a GPU?
Rapid REVIEW indexing benefits from an NVIDIA GPU on the Rapid REVIEW server. We size the server as part of the design, or supply a Husky IVO analytics appliance.
Is this live analytics?
No. Rapid REVIEW is post-event forensic search on recorded video. For live analytics and alarms, AXIS, Hanwha or BriefCam server analytics feed XProtect through its integration platform.
