AXIS Communications has released the new D2050-VE network radar detector product which can easily be integrated with Axis Camera Station and Axis Camera Management software. Network radar allows for up to date information to be used by a surveillance system about the position, angle, speed and size of any moving objects in the area.
The AXIS D2050-VE has many advanced features. With AXIS Radar Autotracking for PTZ, the detector can send the exact coordinates of detected people or objects directly to your PTZ cameras, which can then automatically zoom in on the object with no manual interferences. This product can be operated in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 60°C (-40 to 140°F) so it is perfect for demanding environments that require reliable product operations. The AXIS D2050-VE product is vandal-proof and suitable for outdoor use. Features coverage angle of 120 degrees and 50 meters / 164 feet. The AXIS D2050-VE is powered by Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) technology.
AXIS Radar Autotracking technology for PTZ network cameras was designed to automatically control the direction and zoom level of one or multiple pan, tilt, zoom AXIS network cameras for optimized viewing. The AXIS Radar Autotracking application uses advanced motion data from the AXIS network radar detectors to find objects of interest. This software is compatible with AXIS Q60 and AXIS Q61 series network cameras. AXIS Radar Autotracking software for PTZ network cameras provides automatic visual confirmation of detected objects.
