AXIS Audio Integration Products
AXIS Communications now offers excellent speaker and microphone products to enable audio integration with existing video camera surveillance systems. This type of advanced integration allows system operators to monitor locations in more detail using microphones and also to control audio playback. The new network speaker products are complete audio systems contained within a single unit. The speaker systems offer amplifier, mixer, digital signal processor, streaming functionality, microphone, power supply and loudspeaker capabilities in one easy to install unit. These products are perfect for background music and also for live announcements in a wide variety of location types. AXIS Communications designed these audio products for implementation in various types of locations such as retail stores, event venues, hotels, offices and many more. System operators are able to play different audio in each zone that is setup which allows for maximum flexibility. The new audio products from AXIS Communications use Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology which requires only a single Ethernet network cable to provide both power and data to each unit.
