In 2024, after 38 successful years in the video surveillance industry, CamCentral Systems Inc., founded in 1985 by Peter Turner in Vancouver (British Columbia), is embarking on a new chapter. Known for providing advanced surveillance and security access control solutions, CamCentral has built a strong relations with their customers and a great reputation for its e-commerce portal, offering a wide range of network video cameras & accessories, access control systems and other security solutions. When Peter Turner decided to retire, he sought the right team to continue the legacy he had nurtured for decades.

Vir Kacha and Joohi Sinha, founders of Socketmint and cybersecurity experts, came with a wealth of experience in the field. The new owners are focused on expanding CamCentral’s client base, both in Canada and internationally, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to serving their customers. They plan to cater the diverse customer base by introducing service offerings such as customized software applications for analytics, remote monitoring and Timelapse – BIM (building models) integration.
