AXIS M3945-R Onboard Dome Camera

AXIS M3945-R is a 2 MP fixed dome onboard camera with a deep-learning processing unit (DLPU), purpose-built for onboard and mobile surveillance — particularly inside buses and other transit vehicles, where it complies with transportation industry regulations. It can also be mounted facing outwards to monitor the road ahead.

The camera delivers sharp 2 MP images at up to 60 fps, capturing fast-moving events clearly. Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR maintain true colours and detail in challenging light or near darkness, while a built-in microphone and audio-in support add sound to the picture. Scene profiles let you optimise image settings for the installation, and built-in cybersecurity features with Axis Edge Vault protect the device identity.

AXIS M3945-R is available with either an RJ45 network connector or an M12 connector on the pigtail, in 2.8 mm or 3.6 mm lens variants, housed in a rugged IP66/IP67-rated casing. A lens tool is included. Each variant is sold as a single unit or in a 10-pack for fleet deployments.
