The AXIS Q2802-E Bispectral Camera is engineered to deliver robust, 24/7 detection and verification in a single, powerful device. This bispectral camera seamlessly combines two video streams: a high-performance VGA thermal channel for reliable detection of intruders and events in any weather or light condition, and a 4K visual channel for detailed identification. With thermal sensitivity of NETD <20mK, it offers extremely high detection performance with a low false alarm rate, and supports thermal-visual image fusion so operators can overlay both streams for complete situational awareness.
Ideal for perimeter protection and border surveillance, AXIS Q2802-E ships with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled and is compatible with AXIS Perimeter Defender. Built-in cybersecurity features with Axis Edge Vault protect the device and simplify secure onboarding.
AXIS Q2802-E can be mounted on a standard or AXIS fixed arm mount, or PT-mounted for positioning coverage — the recommended PT unit is AXIS TQ1818. No mount is included; order the mount separately. The camera is available in four lens variants: 17° HFoV (part number 03046-001), 24° HFoV (03604-001), 31° HFoV (03602-001) and 63° HFoV (03600-001), all in 30 fps versions.
