XProtect Transact Base License w/ 1 CL (Milestone part number XPTBS) activates XProtect Transact on one XProtect system and includes one connection licence for your first transaction source. Transact overlays point-of-sale, ATM, fuel-pump or access-system transaction data on the video of the lane where it happened, and makes every receipt line searchable: find every ‘no sale’, void, refund or specific item and jump straight to the video. Add one XProtect Transact Connection License (XPTC1) for each additional POS terminal or transaction source.

This is an electronic licence. Nothing ships: the licence is issued against your Milestone software licence code (SLC) and activated in the Management Client. What is a connection licence?
One connection is one transaction source, usually one POS terminal, ATM or fuel pump. This base licence includes the first connection; each additional terminal needs an XPTC1.
Which POS systems work with Transact?
Transact reads transaction data as text over serial, TCP/IP or from a file, so most POS, ATM and self-checkout systems can be connected. Tell us your POS platform and we will confirm the method, or build the connector.
What does a 6-lane store need?
One XPTBS base licence plus five XPTC1 connection licences, and a camera on each lane with a standard XProtect device licence.
